This large-scale project in Manson involved the full preparation and utility installation for a new shop. Our team began by laying out and installing the complete septic system, along with the underground utilities needed to service the building. From there, we carefully excavated and graded the site in preparation for the shop’s concrete slab and driveway approach, placing gravel to precise subgrade specifications.
Behind the new shop, the scope expanded into a major earthwork operation. Approximately 4,000 cubic yards of material were excavated and exported offsite, requiring careful planning and coordination to keep the project on schedule. At the same time, imported gravel was brought in and placed to establish a durable foundation and drive surface that will stand up to years of use.
A project of this scale requires more than just excavation expertise — it depends on trusted relationships. By working closely with local hauling and material partners, we ensured that both export and import operations ran smoothly and efficiently. Our long-standing connections with area subcontractors are a key part of delivering projects like this on time and on budget.
The result is a site that’s fully prepared for construction, with utilities and septic in place, a stable gravel base for concrete, and a graded approach that ties the new shop seamlessly into the property.
